The Novgorod team won gold at the Northwestern Federal District tournament in all-style karate

Athletes from the Novgorod region won first place in the team competition at the championship and championship of the Northwestern Federal District in all-style karate. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Sports.

The tournament was held in Cherepovets, and 315 athletes from eight regions of the district took part in it. The Novgorod team was represented by athletes from Veliky Novgorod. In total, during the competition, Novgorodians won 17 gold, 24 silver, 17 bronze medals and took first place as a team.

According to the regional Ministry of Sports, the Novgorod region team is currently preparing for the Russian championship and championship. The competition will be held in the Oryol region in April and May.
