Ski races were held in the Murmansk region in the Valley of Uyuta as part of the 63rd Students’ Holiday of the North. The competition was attended by 558 people, among whom were not only northerners, but also guests of the Kola Arctic.
Representatives of Karelia, Moscow, Tula, Tver, Voronezh, Novgorod, Leningrad, Kaluga, Kursk, Belgorod regions and Belarus came to the northern region of Russia for the races. Each of the participants proved to be worthy, but the Murmansk team turned out to be the undisputed leader.
The second place was honestly taken by the RSSHOR team from Petrozavodsk, and the third place went to the FSO Youth of Moscow team.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Murmansk Region, ski competitions in the Arctic do not end at the last races. Athletes will have to skate routes on March 29 and 30.
