Freight transport will be able to move along the automobile part of the Crimean bridge no earlier than December 1, reported at the press center of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.
Previously the decision was made to limit the transportation of goods at the ferry across the Kerch Strait due to the significant waiting time for loading trucks on the route the port of the Caucasus – the port of Kerch. In this regard, the Ministry of Transport of Russia, the administrations of the Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory, as well as transport security structures, have determined lists of priority cargoes that will be transported in the first place: perishable goods, socially significant food and non-food goods, and pharmaceutical products.
Other types of cargo are offered to be delivered by an alternative land route from Taganrog through Dzhankoy and transshipped to rail transport.
