In Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, a personal championship in shooting from military weapons was held among employees of units of the regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This was reported by the press service of the Sakhalin police.
The event was dedicated to International Women’s Day.
“According to the terms of the competition, the participants had to perform the PM-1 sports exercise: from 25 meters, hit a target with a dozen rounds in ten minutes. Before the scoring shots, three test shots were given. Positions for shooting – standing with one or two hands, at the discretion of the participants,” the message says.
Who would shoot first was decided by drawing lots. The goal was to score the most points.
Many representatives of the Sakhalin police showed good results. The first place was taken by Anastasia Sobolyuk, an employee of the department of the Center for Information Technologies, Communications and Information Protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the second place was taken by the inspector of the UOOOP Sofya Adrova. Third place went to Natalya Trofimova, an employee of the Information Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The winners were awarded certificates and gifts.
