Judges of the Moscow City Court were forced to deal with the history of alcohol disputes between businessmen. On Wednesday, businessman Rafik Idrisov, nicknamed Mole, was sentenced here. He was found guilty of organizing the murder of the deputy director of the Uniway Management company (an enterprise specializing in the production and sale of alcoholic products) Abdulmejid Hasanov in April 2010 in Moscow.
As MK learned, at one time Idrisov was a prominent character in Dagestan. Using his connections, he organized schemes to transport smuggled alcohol from Azerbaijan to Russia. In addition, Idrisov actively influenced the appointment of the right people to leadership positions in the republic. He enjoyed the special patronage of the brother of the head of Dagestan, Ramazan Abdulatipov, thanks to which he could regulate the process of appointing officials. By the way, Abdulatipov’s brother himself received 12 years in prison two years ago for bribes from potential “appointees.”
The murder of Hasanov, apparently, was also connected with the redistribution of the alcohol market. His company was based in Derbent – perhaps the businessmen did not share the profits from the sale of alcohol. According to investigators, two killers hired by Idrisov waylaid the deputy director of the company in the courtyard of his house on Kedrov Street. They opened fire as soon as the Porsche Cayenne drove up to the entrance. The gangsters were not stopped even by the fact that Hasanov’s wife and two young sons were in the car. Miraculously, they managed to jump out of the car and take refuge in the entrance. Hasanov died on the spot. The killers were caught quite quickly, and Idrisov hid from the investigation for a long time, but was eventually detained.
The defendant’s lawyer considered the investigation’s conclusions far-fetched. He emphasized that Idrisov is a visually impaired person of the first group, and the verdict was based only on the testimony of two witnesses, one of whom is a killer. In addition, it turned out that the murdered man owed Mole 200 thousand dollars. “Why kill the debtor,” the lawyer was surprised. Nevertheless, the Moscow City Court found Idrisov’s guilt proven and sentenced him to 13 years in a maximum security colony.
