On the Day of Slavic Literature and Culture, a partnership agreement between the Moscow branch of the Russian Union of Journalists and three literary and memorial museums was solemnly signed at the MK site.
As part of this partnership, journalists will have the opportunity to visit the museums of L. N. Tolstoy and A. S. Pushkin on Prechistenka (with their branches), as well as the Moscow museum of Sergei Yesenin in Strochenovsky lane.
This step, according to the editor-in-chief of MK and chairman of the Moscow branch of the SZHR Pavel Gusev, “is designed to promote the formation of the cultural space of Russia, the popularization of culture.”
For journalists, according to him, regular appeal to the cultural treasures of our culture is necessary, including to maintain a high professional, creative and linguistic form.
For museums, such cooperation also opens up new opportunities. “It’s important,” said Sergey Arkhangelov, General Director of the Leo Tolstoy Museum. – qualitatively and competently conduct an information campaign to highlight the activities of museums in our country, which helps to increase awareness and cultivate patriotism among the population, especially among young people.”
