The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation has developed a draft resolution that will allow, on an unannounced basis, to assign a monthly cash payment to combat veterans who participated in a special military operation (SVO).
The Social Fund will receive all the necessary information for assigning payments independently through interdepartmental interaction.
Thanks to this, combat veterans who take part in the SVO and are not able to apply for this payment in a timely manner will be able to receive it from the day such persons are recognized as veterans.
Viktoriya Poteryaiko, Deputy Manager of the Branch of the Pension and Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Crimea, earlier clarified that in 2022 changes were made to federal legislation that defines the list of persons entitled to receive the status of a combat veteran. She explained who can get this status.
Andrey Turchak, head of the working group on the NWO of the group, Secretary of the General Council of United Russia, said that members of the group processed about 28 thousand requests from the participants of the special operation and members of their families. At the same time, many private problems were solved – from returning home those mistakenly mobilized to providing equipment, payments, and sending them on vacation.
