Ministry of Justice March 15 contributed the list of foreign agents includes the former Kommersant correspondent, journalist Marianna Belenkaya, economist Igor Lipsits, director Roman Liberov, actor Semyon Treskunov, editor of the Dovod publication (recognized as a foreign agent) Kirill Ishutin, Novosibirsk deputy Svetlana Kaverzina, former police major Oleg Kashintsev. The reason for including Marianna Belenkaya in the register of foreign agents, according to the Ministry of Justice, was her participation as an interviewer and respondent on platforms provided by foreign agents, the dissemination of “unreliable information about the decisions made by public authorities of the Russian Federation and the policies pursued by them,” as well as participation in the creation and dissemination of materials from foreign agents.

The Ministry of Justice provides the following reasons for inclusion in the register:

  • Semyon Treskunov opposed the special operation in Ukraine, “disseminated false information about the decisions taken by public authorities of the Russian Federation and the policies pursued by them”; “spoke negatively towards citizens of the Russian Federation”; participated in the creation and distribution of materials by foreign agents. The agency indicates that the actor cooperates with an Internet source included in the register of foreign agents;
  • Igor Lipsits participated in the creation and dissemination of materials from foreign agents, “disseminated false information about the decisions taken by public authorities of the Russian Federation and the policies pursued by them”; “called for increased illegal actions on the part of unfriendly countries” towards the Russian Federation, including the transfer of Russian assets to finance Ukraine and build up its weapons;
  • Roman Liberov opposed the special operation in Ukraine, participated in the creation and dissemination of messages and materials of foreign agents; “disseminated false information aimed at creating a negative image of the Russian Federation, as well as the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation”;
  • Oleg Kashintsev opposed the special operation in Ukraine, participated in the creation and dissemination of materials from foreign agents; “disseminated false information about the decisions taken by public authorities of the Russian Federation and the policies pursued by them”;
  • Svetlana Kaverzina “disseminated false information about the decisions taken by public authorities of the Russian Federation and the policies pursued by them”; participated in the creation of messages and materials together with foreign agents, as well as foreign media, and distributed these publications; opposed the special operation in Ukraine; “carried out public actions aimed at creating a negative image of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation”; participated “in the activities of a socio-political association together with a person included in the register of foreign agents”;
  • Kirill Ishutin “participated on the territory of foreign countries in public protest events against the current authorities of the Russian Federation”; “disseminated false information about the decisions taken by public authorities of the Russian Federation and the policies pursued by them”; participated in the dissemination of materials from foreign agents, published messages and materials created by an undesirable organization recognized in the Russian Federation;
