Human rights activist and former director of the Nochlezhka Foundation Grigory Sverdlin (recognized as a foreign agent in Russia) has been put on the federal wanted list, as follows from the Ministry of Internal Affairs database. It is indicated that he is wanted under a criminal article. Which one exactly is not specified.
In a conversation with Mediazona (recognized as a foreign agent), Grigory Sverdlin said that he knew nothing about the initiation of a criminal case against him.
November 17 Ministry of Justice contributed Grigory Sverdlin to the register of foreign agents. The department claims that the human rights activist “carried out actions aimed at creating a negative image of the Russian Federation,” spoke out against the military operation in Ukraine and “disseminated false information” about decisions made by the Russian government. Currently, Mr. Sverdlin lives outside of Russia.
