The Ministry of Industry and Trade called the work of the Wildberries warehouse that burned down in Shushary “strange”

The burned warehouse of the Wildberries marketplace in Shushary did not go through all the necessary procedures to begin operation and was not formally accepted. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Viktor Evtukhov in an interview with the Rossiya-24 TV channel.
“What we know about this Wildberries center is that it’s strange that it worked,” he noted.
As reported by Gosstroynadzor, Wildberries received a certificate of compliance in 2022, but no official permission was issued to put the warehouse into operation. Acting head of the department Vyacheslav Zakharov explained that the company did not apply for commissioning, and noted that with the documents provided, the operation of the warehouse was unacceptable.
The Wildberries company, in turn, argued that its warehouse in Shushary meets all the requirements of urban planning regulations and safety standards.
