The department explained that these requirements are of a technical nature and affect to a greater extent the work algorithms of employees of pharmacy organizations. They will not affect the real availability of medicines for citizens, the Ministry of Health assured.
Earlier it was reported that from September 1, 2023, organizations that manufacture, store and sell medicines are required to enter information from prescriptions. to the “Honest Sign” system. The changes will affect specific and potent drugs purchased online. Such a measure should protect Russians from a shortage of medicines that are purchased in advance. The rest of the medicines can be bought at pharmacies, as before.
Pharmacist Igor Krasilnikov said that, first of all, pharmacists will take special control dispensing medicines for beneficiaries. These are antidiabetic, antiulcer, laxatives. Also, according to him, they will more carefully monitor the release of prescription drugs that are ordered remotely via the Internet.
