The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation published draft order with an updated list of conditions for which first aid should be provided. The updated list includes bites from venomous animals, seizures and acute psychological reactions to stress. It is also proposed to allow assistance to be provided without the consent of the victim or his parent, if they have not previously refused first aid.

The new list of conditions for which first aid is provided includes, among other things, lack of consciousness, respiratory or cardiac arrest, obstruction of the airway by foreign bodies, and external bleeding. It also includes injuries, wounds and damage caused by mechanical, chemical, electrical, and thermal damaging factors.

Changes have been made to the procedure for providing first aid. Now the doctor must verbally inform the victim and others about his readiness to provide first aid. It can also be provided using instructions from the dispatcher for receiving ambulance calls. It will be allowed to use medical products, medicines and improvised means that are not included in first aid kits, kits and kits.
