The Ministry of Health of Ukraine asked to temporarily stop planned hospitalizations throughout the country. This was announced by the head of the press service of the Department of Health of the Kyiv City State Administration (KSCA) Natalia Vishnevskaya.
This decision was made in connection with possible shutdowns of heat, water and electricity in medical institutions due to ongoing Russian strikes on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure.
In addition, the department asked to check all hospitals for backup power, as well as heating, water collection and the necessary supply of medical supplies.
