According to the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, it was decided to extend the expiration date of vaccines against coronavirus infection Sputnik V from six months to a year, depending on the manufacturer of the drug.
At the same time, it is clarified that if a shorter expiration date is indicated on the box with a vaccine produced before this decision, this does not mean that the drug is expired.
The ministry added that examinations were carried out that confirmed the safety and effectiveness of Sputnik V during this period.
