The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that our country strongly condemns the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on a Russian civilian tanker in the Kerch Strait area.

It is specified that “Sig” is located in the southern part of the Kerch Strait – at the entrance to the strait.
The website of the Russian Foreign Ministry quotes the words of the diplomat: “We strongly condemn the terrorist attack on a civilian ship.” Zakharova noted that the night attack threatened not only the death of his crew, but could also cause a large-scale environmental disaster.
There can be no justification for such barbaric actions, she said. “Their authors and performers will inevitably be punished,” Zakharova concluded.
