As with other consular services, you will have to pay in dollars.
This service is classified as a notary service. Now consular fees in this category include, for example, a fee for certifying the accuracy of copies of documents, as well as extracts from documents (5 dollars per page), for certifying the accuracy of a translation of a document from one language to another (from a foreign language into Russian – 35 dollars, from Russian to foreign – 45 dollars), for certification of a marriage contract ($120), etc. Previously, there was no charge for confirming the identity of electronic and paper documents: the service was not in demand.
Now, when electronic document management is gradually replacing paper ones, consular officers are often asked for such a service. From now on, you will need to pay $10 for each page for confirmation.
