The Government of the Russian Federation has received an appeal from State Duma deputies regarding state regulation of prices for beer, beer drinks, cider, poire and mead; it has already been sent to the Ministry of Finance for consideration. The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported this, transmits TASS.

“The appeal was received by the government of the Russian Federation and sent to the Ministry of Finance of Russia for expert study,” they said.

On October 18, the Duma Committee on Economic Policy sent a letter to the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, asking him to work on the issue of state regulation of prices for beer, beer drinks, cider, poiret and mead, wrote agency with reference to the document. Previously the Ministry of Finance offered from January 1, 2024, index the minimum prices for them. According to the draft order, the minimum retail price of 0.5 liters of vodka will be 299 rubles. instead of 281 rubles, brandy (and other products made from grape, wine and other materials) – 403 rubles. instead of 375 rubles, and cognac – 556 rubles. instead of 517 rub.
