How reports Telegram channel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the water level in the flooded regions of the Orenburg, Bryansk, Samara, Kurgan regions and Altai Territory is beginning to decline.

The department said that the water level in the Ural River has dropped by 9 centimeters over the past two hours, and the situation in Orsk is gradually stabilizing. The total number of people evacuated from the city is currently about 2,500 people.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations also clarified that 101 residential buildings and 282 household plots were flooded in the Altai Territory, 4 residential buildings and 342 household plots were flooded in the Bryansk Region, and 50 private residential buildings and 901 household plots were flooded in the Samara Region. And in the Kurgan region, specialists from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations are carrying out work to strengthen the dam.
