The press service of the Ministry of Economy reported that the department supports the initiative to add the blogosphere to the All-Russian Classification of Economic Activities (OKVED). Earlier, the corresponding proposal was made by the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education, Yana Lantratova.
“The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia generally supports the need to amend the all-Russian classifiers OKVED 2 and OKPD 2 in terms of the development of advertising activities, including the blogosphere,” the press service of the department told RIA Novosti.
In an appeal to the Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov, Yana Lantratova indicated that the measure she proposed would ensure a balance between the industry and the state, and also solve “the long-standing problem of the status of an influencer (blogger)”. Thus, the letter said, it would be possible to create a registry of bloggers who generate “expert and constructive content.”
