The court extended the arrest of the participant in the assassination attempt on the writer Prilepin

The Basmanny Court of the capital extended the arrest until October 6 of Alexander Permyakov, accused in the case of blowing up the car of the writer Zakhar Prilepin. About this on Thursday, June 29, informed Telegram channel Shots.

The man was arrested in May this year in the Nizhny Novgorod region. He is accused of committing a terrorist attack and illegal trafficking in explosives.

Recall that 29-year-old Ukrainian saboteur Alexander Permyakov planted an explosive device near the town of Bor, which was hit by Zakhar Prilepin’s car on May 6. There were two people in the car – the writer himself and his fellow traveler and colleague Alexander Shubin, an employee of the Oplot battalion of the National Guard. As a result of the explosion, Shubin died on the spot, and the writer was severely injured, both of his legs were broken. One of the fractures was open. Prilepin needed an urgent operation, after which the doctors put him into a drug-induced sleep. This attempt on the life and health of the writer and the murder of his friend was qualified as a terrorist attack. Permyakov, suspected of his organization, was caught and taken into custody.

Formerly MK informedthat the Nizhny Novgorod doctors who saved Zakhar Prilepin and worked in the special military operation zone received awards. They were presented by the governor of the region Gleb Nikitin. The solemn event was timed to coincide with the professional holiday of doctors – the Day of the Medic.
