After the Russian fighter approached the drone, it made a turn away from the Russian border, and the plane returned safely to its home airfield, the Ministry of Defense added. As a result, the military did not allow violation of the state border of the Russian Federation.

The department emphasized that the Su-27 flight was carried out in strict accordance with international rules for the use of airspace over neutral waters in compliance with safety measures.
