The Ministry of Defense announced the stop of a convoy of Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment in the Zaporozhye direction

Soldiers from reconnaissance units of the Airborne Forces and special forces stopped a convoy of Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment in the area of the village of Verbovoy in the Zaporozhye direction. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense, writes “RIA News”.
They clarified that employees of the reconnaissance unit of the Airborne Forces discovered how a column of Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment – two tanks and an armored vehicle – had moved towards the Russian units. After that, they passed the information to the special forces.
A guided missile from an anti-tank missile system (ATGM) was fired in the direction of the convoy of equipment. As a result, one of the tanks was destroyed, the second tank and the vehicle turned around.
October 24 in the daily report of the Ministry of Defense reported, that in one day the Russian Armed Forces destroyed one tank and two cars in the Zaporozhye direction. In addition, in the Verbovoy area, Russian troops hit the 118th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
