The Russian Federation has requested information from the Palestinian group Hamas about eight people allegedly being held hostage. Musa Abu Marzouk, a member of the Politburo and the head of Hamas’s foreign relations department, said that they are now looking for them and are ready to release them.
The list was received by Hamas through the Russian Foreign Ministry. “We are very careful about this list and will process it carefully.” – Marzuk said. The Hamas spokesman stressed: “We look at Russia as our closest friend.”
According to him, there are eight names on the list provided by the Russian side. All of them have dual citizenship.
Of the civilians who were taken and are now in the Gaza Strip, Marzouk said that “they are being treated like guests.” “It’s difficult, but we’re looking,” he said of the Russians. “And as soon as we find it, we’ll release it.”
