The Ministry of Defense announced the interception of the Ukrainian anti-ship missile “Neptune”

Air defense systems intercepted the Neptune anti-ship missile, as well as two HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and two HARM anti-radar missiles. About it reported in the Ministry of Defense.

During the day, 27 Ukrainian UAVs were also destroyed, including in the areas of the settlements of Shipilovka, Kremennaya, Sofiyivka, Zhitlovka, Zaliman of the LPR, Kirillovka, Zaitsevo DPR, Mirnoe and Nesteryanka of the Zaporozhye region.

According to the report of the department dated August 29, in the Donetsk direction, Russian troops repelled the attack of the assault group of the 59th motorized infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Nevelskoye area. A military echelon of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with artillery ammunition was hit by a missile strike near Dorozhny at the unloading station. In addition, an ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed near the settlement of Druzhkovka. Enemy losses in this direction were, among other things, D-20 and Msta-B howitzers.

In the Zaporozhye direction, Russian troops repelled two attacks by the 46th airmobile brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Verbove area. Three M777 artillery systems and two M119 howitzers made in the USA, as well as an FH-70 gun made in Great Britain were destroyed here.

In the Kupyansk direction, over the past day, six attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine were repelled in the areas of Sinkovka, Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka, LPR. In the Krasnolimansky direction, units of the grouping of troops “Center”, in cooperation with aviation and artillery, repelled three attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Kremennaya, Chervonaya Dibrova of the LPR and Yampolovka of the DPR.

Two armored combat vehicles, three vehicles, as well as Akatsiya and Giatsint-B howitzers were destroyed during the fighting in the South Donetsk direction during the day. And in the Novomikhailovka area of ​​the DPR, an ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed. In the Kherson direction, three vehicles and two D-30 howitzers were destroyed as a result of fire damage.

And on August 28, the department declared about the interception at 11:30 a.m. of a Ukrainian cruise missile off the coast of Crimea. About an hour earlier, air defense forces shot down two Ukrainian aircraft-type drones.
