The Ministry of Defense reported the interception and destruction of four Ukrainian Armed Forces missiles over the Crimean Peninsula
Four Ukrainian Armed Forces missiles were shot down over Crimea. This was reported in the official Telegram channel of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The department clarified that an attempted terrorist attack on targets on Russian territory using airborne terrorist missiles was stopped on January 6 at about 00.30. Air defense systems on duty over the Crimean Peninsula intercepted and destroyed four Ukrainian missiles.
No other details were provided. Earlier, information appeared in Crimean groups on social networks regarding the work of air defense in the Saki region of Crimea.
On January 5, the Ministry of Defense reported foiled attempts at terrorist attacks on Russian targets using the Neptune anti-ship missile and UAVs. The targets were intercepted and destroyed over the Black Sea, the territory of the Crimean Peninsula and Kuban.
