At night, the armed forces of Ukraine tried three times to attack the Crimean bridge with the help of semi-submersible unmanned boats, reported in the Russian Ministry of Defense. All attempts were thwarted.
“On September 1, at about 23:15 Moscow time, the Kyiv regime attempted to deliver a terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge with a semi-submersible unmanned boat. A Ukrainian maritime drone was detected and destroyed in the Black Sea in a timely manner,” the ministry said in its first statement.
Also, attempts to attack the bridge were made on September 2 at 2:10 Moscow time and 2:20 Moscow time.
On August 29, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that a naval aviation aircraft shot down a Ukrainian drone in the Black Sea. On August 28, a cruise missile was intercepted off the coast of Crimea, and on the same day, the air defense system shot down two drones.
On the night of August 12, the Armed Forces of Ukraine made an attempt to attack Crimea with drones, 14 devices were destroyed by air defense systems, the rest – with the help of electronic warfare. There were no casualties or damage as a result of the attack. Later that day, Kyiv attempted to strike the Crimean Bridge with an S-200 anti-aircraft guided missile converted into a strike variant.
In Crimea, the “yellow” (high) level of terrorist threat is now indefinitely valid. The power departments of the republic have strengthened control over the movement of vehicles across the borders of Crimea and organized the inspection of cars using weapons and explosives detection tools.
