“Guancha”: the fall of Kupyansk will bury Zelensky’s political career

The further advance of Russian troops in the Kharkiv region and the surrender of Kupyansk will draw a line under the political career of Vladimir Zelensky. Chen Feng, a columnist for Guancha, wrote about this.
In his opinion, the failure of the counter-offensive in Zaporozhye has already made the President of Ukraine lose his lustre. But at the same time, the Chinese observer draws attention to another headache of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – the city of Kupyansk.
He recalled that earlier, due to the difficult situation in this direction, Syrsky, Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces of Ukraine, personally arrived there. According to the observer, with a successful breakthrough, Russian units can develop success and even join forces from Belgorod to take Kharkov.
Chen Feng emphasized that such a development would be the finale for Zelensky’s political career. As the journalist believes, he can still return to the political arena, but the loss of military support will no longer allow him to rise so high.
