Russian troops continue offensive operations in the Donetsk direction, informed Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov.
“In the Donetsk direction, units of the Russian army continued offensive operations, while simultaneously repelling enemy counterattacks. In just a day, more than 120 Ukrainian servicemen, two tanks, six armored combat vehicles, five enemy vehicles were destroyed in this direction,” he said.
In the Yuzhnodonetsk direction, the Russian Armed Forces defeated a mechanized company of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of \u200b\u200bthe settlement of Vodiane, and also destroyed three enemy sabotage groups near Pavlovka. A motorized infantry company of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was stopped in the Kupyansk direction, losing more than 50 people and one tank as a result. In the Krasnolimansk direction, the Ukrainian side tried to attack from the Stelmahovka area with the forces of a motorized infantry company reinforced by foreign mercenaries, this unit was also defeated.
In addition, the Russian Armed Forces destroyed two Ukrainian self-propelled firing systems of the Buk-M1 air defense system and an ammunition depot near Kramatorsk in the DPR, and also hit 11 command posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the DPR, Kharkiv and Kherson regions.
Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24.
