The government approved a new plate for foreign agents

The Government of the Russian Federation approved the rules for posting materials of foreign agents, which will come into force on December 1.

According to the document, a textual indication of a foreign agency and an indication in sound form should be placed in Russian, the text font should be twice the font size of the main material, and the color should be contrasting with the background. The text indication should be placed at the beginning of each material under the heading or immediately before the beginning of such material. At the same time, the imposition of a text indication on text, image or otherwise is not allowed.

Text indications in audiovisual material will be subject to central location and occupy at least 20% of the image area. The imposition of audio instructions on the sound fragments of the material is not allowed. Also, do not speed up the playback of the audio guidance and reduce the volume. The indication in the audiovisual material must be placed at the beginning of the broadcast and after each interruption. The duration of the demonstration of a textual instruction in an audiovisual material must be at least 15 seconds.

The government also approved the form of a textual indication that the material belongs to a foreign agent.
