The Ministry of Culture will equip museums with smart home systems and artificial intelligence

The Ministry of Culture plans to introduce IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for recognizing video streams in its subordinate institutions by 2030, as well as a system with a personal account for each museum. Also, the information systems of cultural institutions should be transferred to a single digital platform “Gostekh”. This is stated in the draft government order “Strategic direction in the field of digital transformation (DN DT) of the cultural sector until 2030,” published on the website of regulatory legal acts on September 11.
