The Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation found that the Samara Region violated the terms of the agreement on providing the region with a federal subsidy in the amount of 395.8 million rubles. We are talking about the amount that the 63rd region received for the design and reconstruction of the embankment of the Avtozavodsky district of Togliatti this year.
In this regard, the Minister of Construction of Russia Irek Fayzullin asked the governor of the Samara region Dmitry Azarov to provide clarification on the situation. As follows from a copy of a letter from Irek Fayzullin to Dmitry Azarov, the Samara Region concluded an agreement with the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation on the design and reconstruction of the embankment in Togliatti at the end of December last year. At that time, according to preliminary estimates, the amount of construction of the facility should have been about 5.6 billion rubles.
Of these, this year the Samara region received 395.8 million rubles. The embankment in the Avtozavodsky district of Togliatti was supposed to be put into operation in December 2024.
In March of this year, the authorities of the Samara region, without agreement with the federal Ministry of Construction, adjusted the project. They also received a positive conclusion from the repeated state expertise on the reliable estimated cost of the project and the reconstruction of the Togliatti embankment, which has now increased to 8.9 billion rubles, according to a copy of the letter from the head of the Russian Ministry of Construction to the governor of the Samara region.
