The specifics of the flight of unmanned aerial vehicles after the emergency in St. Petersburg have been revealed

Ukrainian drones manage to penetrate deep into the territory of the Russian Federation, since they fly at an altitude of up to 1000 meters in “silence mode” and are corrected by satellites, the commander of one of the combat units for UAVs of the Russian Armed Forces in the North Military District with the call sign “Lego” told RIA Novosti.

On Saturday night, a Ukrainian drone hit a house in St. Petersburg. As a result, an explosion occurred and then a fire started, causing glass to break out on the facades of two neighboring houses and damage the balconies. After the incident, hundreds of people were evacuated from the buildings. Now people are in a temporary accommodation center. There they were provided with hot meals and provided with all the necessary assistance. No one died in the incident, but later it became known that six people were injured. People independently turned to doctors for help, while a 92-year-old pensioner was hospitalized due to stress.

“A drone can fly even across the entire globe if it wants, as long as it only has enough fuel,” said the military man.

Lego noted that in the case of the attack on a house in St. Petersburg, the drone was able to easily cover 1,200 km in this way, that is, the distance from Kharkov to St. Petersburg in a straight line. After spending 40 liters of fuel, it can carry up to 20 kg of explosives.

When flying, the drone does not emit signals and flies to predetermined coordinates. Lego pointed out that drones can hit residential buildings both purposefully and as a result of errors, for example, when calculating fuel to a given point.

“To prevent this from happening, you just need to achieve the NWO’s goals for demilitarization,” he said.
