According to the Russian military, the car is in good working order and was simply abandoned.
“The car was practically untouched by fire. It was abandoned and evacuated by our specialists and delivered here to a collection point for receiving damaged vehicles,” said a fighter with the call sign “Rotor.”
The M113 armored personnel carrier was adopted by the US Army in 1961.
