St. Petersburg joined the Moscow experiment, and during the spring conscription, the distribution of electronic summonses through the State Services began. So far, this is testing and preparation for the autumn conscription, when the Unified Register of Military Registration will start working, Sergey Kachkovsky, the chief military commissar of St. Petersburg, told reporters, his words are conveyed Fontanka.

At the city assembly point, where the first dispatch of conscripts to the troops took place, he also noted that the possibility of notifying conscripts by SMS is being worked out. Mr. Kachkovsky recalled that the recruitment plan for St. Petersburg is about 3,000 people. The military commissar stressed that they would not be sent to the combat zone, but they could end up in the territories adjacent to it, that is, in the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk regions.
