The military commissar of Moscow has prepared clarifications for employers who have mobilized employees. They were forbidden to terminate agreements and contracts with drafted employees and were obliged to ensure their appearance at the military registration and enlistment offices. As follows from the document published by the agency, during the mobilization period, work contracts and agreements should be suspended. Employers are prohibited from canceling them.
Employers were also required to notify employees of subpoenas – they must hand them over against receipt at the place of work. Metropolitan employers are also required to provide employees with the opportunity to appear on time when called on the agenda.
Since September 21, partial mobilization has been taking place in Russia. The Ministry of Defense plans to call on 300,000 reservists with the necessary military specialties (shooters, tankers, gunners, drivers) and combat experience – primarily soldiers, foremen and warrant officers under 35 years old and junior officers up to 50 years old. Wherein known cases when in some regions they called up people who did not fit these criteria.
