Botulinum toxin poison, even in small doses, can cause fatal poisoning. This was stated by microbiologist Igor Nikulin. It was this poisonous substance that was used against our servicemen in the Zaporozhye region. First of all, it affects the mucous membranes, the expert emphasized.
The doctor explained that when botulinum toxin is inhaled, the poison enters the lungs and settles on the mucous membranes of the mouth and nose. Oxygen exchange is interrupted, acetylcholine is blocked and a person dies from suffocation, from a lack of oxygen.
Recall that the Russian Defense Ministry accused Ukraine of using poisonous substances against the Russian military in the Zaporozhye region. The soldiers were taken to the hospital. They determined that they were poisoned.
Nikulin recalled that botulinum toxin was in service with the US Army. The Americans had bombs loaded with this poison. Perhaps they fell into the hands of the Ukrainian military. The expert did not rule out that Ukraine could spray this substance by aerosol using drones.
