Evidence of extraterrestrial life heard in the Mexican Senate. In the country’s first official UFO event, the alleged remains of “non-human” mummies were presented at the hearing.

Mexican senators heard evidence that “we are not alone” in the universe and were presented with the supposed remains of “non-human” mummies at the country’s first official event on extraterrestrial life.

According to The Guardian, at a hearing in the United Mexican States Senate on Tuesday, lawmakers were shown two shriveled bodies with shrunken heads – along with video footage of “unexplained anomalous phenomena” by Jaime Maussan, a sports journalist turned UFO enthusiast.

Maussan said the remains were more than 1,000 years old and belonged to “non-human beings that are not part of our earthly evolution.”

“This is the queen of all evidence,” said Jaime Maussan. “That is, if DNA shows us that they are non-human beings and that there is nothing like it in the world, we should accept it as such.”

Other studies have shown that mummies that were found in Nazca (Peru) in 2017 are fake, The Guardian notes.

Tuesday’s hearing was organized by Sergio Gutiérrez Luna, a lawmaker from the ruling Morena party and candidate for governor of Veracruz state.

The hearing was attended by participants from around the world, who called for transparency and international cooperation. Maussan suggested that Mexico could become the first country in the world to acknowledge the presence of aliens on the planet.

Gutierrez Luna said Congress had not taken a position on the theories put forward during the hearings but stressed the importance of hearing “all voices, all opinions.”

The event in Mexico was inspired by a US Congressional hearing on the same topic in July, in which retired Maj. David Grush alleged that the US was hiding a program to detect and reverse engineer UFOs. The Pentagon denied his statements.

In an interview with the media, Grush made even more sensational statements that the US government has the bodies of “dead pilots” and a flying saucer found in Mussolini’s Italy almost 100 years ago, The Guardian recalls.

However, the newspaper notes, the hearings in the US Congress were a sign of increased respectability in an area that was once considered a haven for conspiracy theorists.

Prominent politicians such as Republican Senator Marco Rubio have pushed for more disclosure, and in 2022 Barack Obama told CBS that the government has “footage and recordings of objects in the sky that we don’t know exactly what they are, we don’t we can explain how they moved, their trajectory.”
