The RIA Novosti agency, citing eyewitnesses, writes: Mrs. Sobchak, together with her husband Konstantin Bogomolov, crossed the Burachki border checkpoint on the border with Latvia in the Pskov region.
Ksenia Sobchak’s mother, Senator Lyudmila Narusova, neither confirmed nor denied reports of her daughter’s return to Russia. “I don’t comment on rumors,” the senator said. On November 2, she said that soon Ksenia Sobchak would be in Russia.
On October 27, Head of the State Department of Lithuania Darius Jauniškis toldthat the journalist entered the country on an Israeli passport. The day before, Ksenia Sobchak’s house in Gorki-8 was searched in connection with extortion of 11 million rubles from the head of the Rostec state corporation, Sergei Chemezov.
According to investigators, the commercial director of Ksenia Sobchak, Kirill Sukhanov, demanded money from Mr. Chemezov for deleting a post with defamatory information on the Put Out the Light Telegram channel. Mrs. Sobchak called what was happening a “raid” on her editorial office and stated that she did not believe in the guilt of her employee.
