The media reported on the cancellation of Khakamada’s master class in Voronezh after her statement about the mobilized

The event planned for March 8 in Voronezh with the participation of politician and public figure Irina Khakamada has been cancelled. It is reported “News of Voronezh” with reference to the Event-Hall of the Grad city park, where the performance was to take place. The publication suggests that the transfer may be associated with the statement of Ms. Khakamada, who called those who fell under the mobilization “idiots.”

Irina Khakamada’s speech was supposed to be devoted to “the origin and management of energy,” Novosti Voronezh reports. The Event-Hall reported the cancellation of the event, Novosti Voronezh specifies that it was moved to another venue, where exactly and on what date is unknown.

In a video interview with Ms. Khakamada, which the SHOT Telegram channel posted on February 13, when asked if there were those among her acquaintances who were mobilized, who had to go to the front, she replied: “No, I don’t have them, they are not idiots.”

After that, according to SHOT, social activists sent an appeal to the chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, in which they asked to check Irina Khakamada and to ban her master classes in Voronezh, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ulyanovsk, Irkutsk and Vladivostok. The Ministry of Culture of Primorye is working on canceling the meeting, informed March 3 KP.
