The mayor of Kislovodsk decided to remove the Baryshnikov quote on the wall of the choreographic school

The head of Kislovodsk Evgeny Moiseev in his Telegram channel promised subscribers to replace the quote from dancer and choreographer Mikhail Baryshnikov, posted on one of the walls of the Kislovodsk choreographic school, with a quote from “one of our geniuses, a true patriot of our native land.”

The story was posted on the Telegram channel of Evgeny Moiseev. At the same time, citizens pointed out to the mayor, who in the story talked about the construction of new facilities in Kislovodsk, that the quote from the choreographer, who had once left his homeland, was inappropriate.
Mr. Moiseev promptly responded to the dissatisfaction of subscribers and posted a new post on Telegram, where he said that he was now looking into “who approved the quote from a man, albeit a genius, but who abandoned his native country and does not support it, our hero guys, our president in that the struggle that we all, the whole country, the whole of Kislovodsk, are waging for our future, the future of our children and our entire country.” He also said that he had already given the command and the quote would be replaced.
More than 70 comments have already appeared under the post about replacing the choreographer’s words, most of their authors praise Mr. Moiseev for his efficiency and even offer their own versions of future quotes from real patriots. Participating in the discussion, however, are those residents of Kislovodsk who don’t care, whose words adorn the walls of the choreographic school. They complain about the condition of the roads and that their comments about it are systematically removed from discussions.
