Mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk Ruslan Martsinkiv said that city residents should prepare for the worst-case scenario, according to which the blackout could last several weeks. This was reported by the Ukrainian edition of Strana.ua.
“In the event that a large-scale power outage occurs, then water in apartment buildings can only be supplied up to the 2nd-3rd floors. At the same time, fire hydrants will be equipped on the territory of the city, in which it will be possible to collect water,” Martsinkiv noted.
Recall that earlier he advised residents of multi-storey buildings located on the territory of Ivano-Frankivsk to temporarily leave the city. Martsinkiv clarified that due to rocket attacks, heating was disrupted in 53 apartment buildings. It will be very difficult to be in them.
