The head of the Moscow region city of Lyubertsy, Vladimir Volkov, presented a housing certificate to Mugabil Babaev, who helped detain the man who was rushing at people with a machete. The video was published in the Telegram channels of the head of the city district.
“Just a worthy act for any man. I think that many would do the same in your place… You are an example for many…” said Volkov, presenting the award.
Earlier, on November 8, as the Investigative Committee reported, a woman and a 14-year-old teenager were injured as a result of an attack by an inadequate person with a knife; both were taken to the hospital.
