The main role in the new series “Homemade” went to the musician and fitness trainer

As part of the “Fairytale melodramas” line, today, February 28, at 19.00 on the Domashny TV channel, the premiere of the series “Poor Relative” will take place. On the eve of the premiere, we managed to talk with the lead actor in the series, David Kolchin.

– On “Dhome” On February 28, the premiere of the project “Poor Relative”, in which you played the main role, will take place. What got you interested in the project? What is he talking about?

— The project shows the situation when an absolutely stranger becomes more dear to the family. This intimacy and unconditional love comes from the purity of the soul and heart, and not because of blood relationship. In my opinion, the meaning of the picture is the victory of good over meanness and betrayal. It is very important to believe that love and wisdom can overcome any obstacles. The project gave me as an actor a good opportunity to play a new character and show myself from a completely different side.

Tell us about your hero, please. What would you like to put into it?

– While working on the role of Andrei, I tried to put my own traits into his character – resilience, a sense of justice and approached problems “with a cool head.” This is how my grandfather raised me, he was a military man and a rather tough person, he always demanded order even in small things.

You play the piano and you are very good at it. Are you going to further develop your skills in this direction?

– I am very pleased thank you! I have loved classical music since childhood. During the pandemic, I started playing the synthesizer and decided that I wanted to make music. I started with online lessons, while studying the history and laws of music. Over time, I wanted to train more professionally, realizing that I needed serious tools. I saw an advertisement for a specialized school, got into a trial lesson. I liked it, I continued my studies and got a diploma. But this is only the first stage of my journey!

– What do you do in your free time? from filming time besides music?

– I train people. I wanted to bring more benefit to people, and I realized that I love sports very much, I train throughout my life. And I decided that I needed to approach this more professionally. After modeling, he entered the Higher School of Fitness and Bodybuilding, graduating from it, received a diploma and a certificate of functional training coach. He began to lead group classes in boxing, kickboxing, functional training and classical bodybuilding in a fitness club. I developed my own training system and switched to an online format. Dozens of people have already walked with me their way to the results they wanted to achieve, acquired good habits, and some continued to work with me to maintain their health. To date, my coaching experience is about five years.

– On the set you can often be seen with a book in your hands. What genre of literature do you prefer? Name your top 5 favorite books.

— Of the recently read – “Dracula” by Bram Stoker, “The Master and Margarita” by Mikhail Bulgakov. My favorite books that I recommend reading to absolutely everyone are “Freedom, Love, Loneliness” by the Indian philosopher Osho, “People who play games. Games People Play” by the American psychologist and psychiatrist Eric Berne, “The Art of Being” by the German philosopher and sociologist Erich Fromm, “The Financier” by Theodor Dreiser, “The Picture of Dorian Gray” by Oscar Wilde.
