A bus driver in Lyubertsy found a backpack with 500 thousand rubles and returned it to the passenger. Artem Khrzayan has been working on route No. 441 for two years now, transporting people from Zhukovsky to Kotelniki metro station. He found the backpack on March 17, when he was inspecting the bus at the final stop.
— The backpack was unzipped, so I saw that it contained money and a set of documents. All this was on the seat behind the driver’s seat, and I clearly remembered that a woman was sitting there,” the driver said. “The first thing I did was call the control room and tell them about the find. It turned out that the passenger had already discovered the loss and also called the dispatcher.
The forgotten property was returned to the owner, who thanked the driver for his honesty and integrity.
Does the driver expect any special reward at Mostransavto? In fact, he already received it – the transport company talked about the honest employee in all its social networks. And it is possible that a bonus will also be issued. But so far there has been no conversation with management about this.
— Since childhood, my parents repeated to me: the main thing is to live honestly. Everything alien and undeserved quickly leaves a person. What you earn is spent for good,” says Artem.
