Head of the Dmitrov urban district of the Moscow region Ilya Ponochevny reportedthat the leak on the heating main in the Cosmonauts microdistrict has been eliminated. According to him, within two hours the temperature will return to normal in all houses. On the morning of January 9, heating and hot water supply was suspended on the heating network from the boiler house, which serves 29 apartment buildings, two kindergartens and a school.
“Residents are already confirming that their apartments are getting warmer,” said Ilya Ponochevny. At 10:58 he reported that heating and hot water supply had been restored to Dmitrov’s school, kindergarten and 22 apartment buildings. At that time, 8 houses remained without heating.
In early January, residents of a number of Russian regions experienced power outages. The most widespread heat outages were in the Moscow region, where several thousand consumers were left without electricity, hot water and heat. In Klimovsk, in particular, 174 apartment buildings were left without heating.
