His wife on the group’s official page on social networks said that the musician’s condition is serious – he is in a coma, he cannot be transported or operated on. According to Anastasia, doctors provide therapy, and his relatives look after him, talk to him, play music and videos with children.
The group “Black Square” was founded by Igor Sokolov in 1989 in Belgorod, where Igor received his musical education. The impetus for creating his own group was his passion for the music of Viktor Tsoi, which Igor carried throughout his life, and which would later find his own voice.
