The life of singer Alla Pugacheva will change for the worse if she is recognized as a foreign agent. This statement was made by lawyer Alexander Benkhin in an interview with the publication Teleprogramma.pro.

As for the recognition procedure, according to the specialist, apparently it has already begun. The final decision, he noted, will be made by the Ministry of Justice. In his opinion, political will is necessary to recognize Pugacheva as a foreign agent.

“If the Ministry of Justice really recognizes the singer as a foreign agent, then her life will change for the worse. She will be required to label each of her posts and statements. And remember those laws that are expected and relate to foreign agents, for example, regarding the confiscation of property,” the lawyer noted, adding that no specific decisions have been made yet, so we should expect a decision from the department.

At present, the specialist said, the appeal to recognize Diva as a foreign agent has been accepted and is being considered by the prosecutor’s office, since it is a supervisory authority. Afterwards, he added, the department transmits the information to the Ministry of Justice, but “this is purely a formality.”

Let us remind you that public activist Vitaly Borodin announced the start of the procedure for recognizing Alla Pugacheova as a foreign agent. According to his statement, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia sent a corresponding appeal to the Ministry of Justice.
