Denis Shapiro, a lawyer for Akhmat special forces commander Apta Alaudinov, told reporters that he intends to initiate a criminal case on the attempted murder of his client.
According to the human rights activist, for this purpose, the head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, will be given all the materials of the pre-investigation check into the poisoning of Apta Alaudinov.
“In a statement addressed to the chief military prosecutor of Russia, Valery Petrov, I ask him to take personal control of the material of the pre-investigation check … and transfer the materials to the chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, for a decision to initiate a criminal case under the article on attempted murder (part 3 of the article 30, part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation),” Shapiro told reporters.
