The deputy head of the administration of the Kherson region, Kirill Stremousov, said that on Monday, November 7, the last flight of the ship to the left bank left Kherson as part of the evacuation of the civilian population.
On the social network, Stremousov complained that “the majority of residents who did not leave Kherson have only now begun to realize the seriousness of the situation.” He recalled that he repeatedly urged the townspeople to leave.”
According to him, upon arrival on the left bank of the Dnieper, the evacuees are “picked up by buses and transported to the Crimea,” where they are met by volunteers. “Further on, the evacuees will go to other subjects” of Russia, where they “are provided with temporary accommodation points.” Also, each evacuated resident “will be able to receive a one-time payment of 100,000 rubles and a housing certificate,” Stremousov added.
The authorities of the region report that since today is the last day of organized evacuation from the city, then residents can evacuate on their own.
