The Kuban team won the championship and kickboxing championship. The competition took place in the regional center from March 16 to 19 in the disciplines: “low kick”, “light contact”, “point fighting” and “solo compositions”. More than 700 of the strongest athletes from different regions of the Russian Federation participated in the tournament. The competitions were held according to the Olympic system.
Kuban kickboxers won 63 medals: 30 gold, 15 silver and 18 bronze. Vice-Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Alexander Vlasov said that the region’s team became first in the team standings of the championship and championship of the Russian Federation.
Kickboxers who take first and second places will compete for awards in the Russian Championship, which will take place in Kaspiysk in May 2024. In addition, in November the Russian Championship will be held in Kemerovo, in which representatives of the region will participate.
